"Money-grubbing bitch, huh? Figures." he said. Best idea in his mind was to just let her go on her way. They already had drama with four people who literally only met two weeks ago. If they got a couple with a complicated history, well, that would just bode ill things all around.
"Fuller, you got any Zhǐtòngyào in that nice new infirmary of yours?" Ilana asked.
"Pretty sure. Let's go have a look," Jay motioned for Ilana to follow as he headed further up the ramp and into the cargo hold.

Rienna Stone
Riena seemed to have disappeared into the background; The one who was leading the conversation was being thrown around, First the young girl, then the one they called Hawke. Kicking up a mighty storm about how no good a person the young dame was. Then passed over to trigger finger; her stance proved that she would have no qualms firing upon anyone. Sighing inwardly as she watched the drama unfold, people joining in, one young'n in particular that caught the eye of the young dame and her fancy. Along with his obvious dismissal of her advancement.
Riena stepped back further, taking a seat on a crate that was near the beginning of the ramp, setting her pack down, she rested her elbows on her knees and watched the show. Her gaze fixated on the performance of what would be her new crew. When the words "Money-grubbing bitch" and "You're not my type" were spoken, Riena almost lost it as a spit of laughter rolled out of her mouth. "Ease up on him..." noting the obvious training behind her skills. "These outerworlders aren't used to the fanciful talk..."
Grinning to herself, as she remembered the first times she made the same mistake. When she met Marcus. Learn once, never forget. When the young'n and trigger finger made their exit fading into the mouth of the ship; Riena still sat, looked around for a bit. Nodding her head in the general direction of where the other two were standing. Absent mindly wondering if they were going to even try to speak to her. Riena figured the one who gave the valiant speech; going allMy Captain, My Captain on everyone, wasn't going to let just anyone on.
Safe to say she'd be waiting till Marcus got back.
Lazily she leaned into the crook of the wall and the crate, her arm hanging loosely by her side. The old bag just underneath it. With a quick breath out, she reached into her shirt pocket; pulling out a crumbled pack of cigarettes, and gold painted lighter. Flicking the it open and gliding the flint wheel along her thigh, a spark bursting from the friction letting flame a appear. A quick exhale of bitter smoke, and she was beginning to relax. Her knuckles were still slightly bloodied, but most of it had dried by now, and it didn't seem like much of a bother at this moment. Riena waited a beat, letting the cherry slowly burn; the cigarette resting lightly between her fingers.
"aaaandd away they go...." Lazily she motioned with her occupied hand. Taking another drag, she turned back to the crowds, coming and going. Carrying on with their everyday life.
"Is it always a fun, confrontational event on this ship?" talking to no one in particular, hoping someone would speak up.

Hawkeye
Hawkeye listened to everything going on around him, Ilana couldn't give a crap about anything, at least she wasn't pissed at him, Hawkeye and Ilana were just getting over their last fight, he didn't really want another.
Amelia seemed a little desperate, the more she talked to Ilana, the more Hawkeye thought, that she wasn't actually looking for a change, like she dad said, but more like she was trying to get off world. What was her goal, who had Amelia pissed off, why was she trying to get off the ship, Hawkeye didn't like it.
After being rebuked by Ilana, Amelia, the whore, threw herself and Jay, a tactic that didn't seem to do much good, Amelia was good at what she did, so Hawkeye had heard, which made him wonder about Jay, and his complete lack of reaction to Amelia. Jay was sly, or not into blondes, or had good restraint, or was castrated, or Jay could just be good at hiding his emotions, or he could be a she in disguise, but that was just ludicrous. The tactic also earned her some more venom from Ilana. Hawkeye was pretty sure Amelia wouldn't be getting a job on this vessel. "Amelia why don't you go run on home, I doubt you'll find any work here."
As Jay and Ilana headed back into the ship, Hawkeye turned his attention to the other new woman. "To answer your question, yes it is quite often this crazy, on my first day I made the mistake of spying on Marcus, got me in a boatload of trouble, but only really with Ilana. I'm Hawkeye by the way, are you a friend of Marcus'?" It was time for Hawkeye to figure out who this woman was, especially since he was stuck guarding the ship, against two possibly hostile women.

Amelia
Amelia scowled at the young man, he had just flat out rejected her, what was wrong with him, Amelia knew some guys were more resilient to her advances, but they all had some sort of reaction, unless they were sly, he was sly that was it, Amelia was pretty good at telling these thing, she couldn't believe she'd missed it.
So apparently Ilana wasn't going to help her either, oh well Amelia would just have to wait for the captain to return. The way Ilana had said Amelia was throwing herself at the men, amused Amelia, it was a tone many a jelous woman had used with her. Ilana and Jay slinked away. Just as the other girl was talking in fact Amelia almost laughed at the woman's comment about off worlders, Amelia thought she could like this girl.
Hawkeye tried to get Amelia to leave, but it wasn't going to work, Amelia wasn't going to leave, she needed to get off world, and Hawkeye's presence should have made getting on this ship easy, but apparently he'd thrown the bonds between the Greenleaf Squad, and the crew of the Witt's End away when he had changed his name. "Sorry Hawk I'll be staying till the captain gets here. "

Ilana raised an eyebrow at the odd couple in the cargo bay. Amelia acted like a doxy, but Ilana knew she wasn't, she was to crafty for that. Fuller told her he thought he had something for her headache and motioned for her to follow him. She glanced at the three others and reluctantly turned to follow the medic through the ship to the cargo bay.
As she got to the cargo bay exit she called over her shoulder, "Hawk, no one leaves the cargo bay until the captain gets back."
She figured he was smart enough on his own to figure out why, and she followed Fuller deeper into the ship.

Jay made his way up into the ship, glancing back every so often to make sure Ilana was still following. As he walked, he replayed the past couple minutes and wondered if it was too obvious when he said 'You're not my type' to that flirty chick. He was positive that no one else on the crew suspected his being sly. In fact, the only one who might have some sort of inkling was the girl behind him, but he couldn't be sure. Guys never picked up on it, though, so he was sure he was fine in that area.
As he entered the medical section, he let the thoughts drift away as he began rifling through the cabinets, "Aaaalllll right," he said, "Let's see what we can find." After a couple minutes of looking he finally came across the small pills in one of the drawers. "Ha! Got it," he offered it to Ilana, "Here ya go. Only take one, though, these are some stronger doses. Maybe half, depending on your headache."

Ilana followed Fuller into the infirmary and watched as he rifled through things. He was acting strange, thoughtful. Usually he was a talker. Well, usually as well as Ilana knew him, which was admittedly not very well. She watched him, lost in his own thoughts, and wondered for no reason at all, what could possibly keep him from talking for this long. He wasn't an annoying sort of talker, but he definitely was uncomfortable in silence.
"Ha! Got it," he offered it to Ilana, "Here ya go. Only take one, though, these are some stronger doses. Maybe half, depending on your headache."
She took it from him and shook one pill out into her hand. She didn't have to think very long. She didnt get headaches often, and with the speed this one had escalated, it was going to be bad. She went to the small sink, set the pill on the counter. She popped the pill into her mouth and swallowed it with a handful of water.
She turned to the medic then and asked, "So what has you so freaked out?"

Jay watched her as she went to the sink. He took the pill bottle and put it back in its place, closing the drawer. He turned back and leaned on the counter.
"So what has you so freaked out?" Ilana asked after popping the pill. Jay raised an eyebrow to her. "Nothing, I was just thinking," he responded. "Do I look freaked?"

Ilana looked at Fuller when he asked if he looked freaked. She thought about it for a moment and then said, "You didn't, but you kinda do now. I was just noticing that you're being quite and that's a rarity. When you're quite there's usually something bothering you. Of course, I've only known you for a couple weeks, so I could be completely wrong. That's just the behavior I've noticed since we've been shipmates."
She thought for a moment about having left Hawkeye "Stick in the Arse" Hamlin alone with two women he doesn't know. One of which either wants him dead, or wants to tie him to the bed. Neither thought really appealed to Ilana at that moment, so she walked to the doorway and said, "I should head back to the cargo bay. I would feel bad if we went back and the women had ganged up on Hawkeye. And I'd really appreciate it if you tagged along. I'm not very comfortable around the whorish one, and I don't want to be stuck there with Hawkeye and those two women I don't know. You're much easier to talk to, especially since the recent fight with Hawk. We're on speaking terms but its still a bit like walking on a high wire."
She motioned for him to follow her this time, and walked out of the room, hoping he would follow and not leave her to fend for herself.

Rienna Stone
Riena leaned back casually, becoming more accustomed to the position she was in, crossing her legs; letting her foot hang lazily and bob to a song in her head. Turning her head to the side as Hawke spoke in agreement of her question. Taking another drag of her cigarette. Her expression motionless. "I made the mistake of spying on Marcus, got me in a boatload of trouble....but only really with Ilana." This made Riena perk up when the thought hit her. Remembering Teegan's one ended conversation with a half empty bottle of wine. Shot almost dead center. POW. Her eyes widened, and a Cheshire grin crawled along her lips.
"I'm Hawkeye by the way, are you a friend of Marcus'?" The young man was clean cut, and had a gun ready. Guess the little brunette wasn't the one with a trigger finger after all. Cute little thing.
Apparently she was seen more of a threat than usual. Flicking the ash from the half gone cig; whilst taking a final puff, she tossed it to the ground. Pushing herself up from the crate to a stand, smashing the dying embers under her dirtied boot. "You could say were friends.. " Her shoulders shrugged lightly as it added to her statement. The smile growing bigger still. Stepping closer to Hawkeye, her hand extended. "Name's Riena, Riena Stone..." not waiting for him to reply his introductions, she briskly pulled him a tad closer; hand still clasped in his. Her voice loud enough for anyone else to hear.
"So spying on Markus huh?..tell me... with all that investigating .. were you able to have a look-see at the scar?.." The almost clever smile had now turned into a devious smirk. "If not... You'll have to ask him to show you..." Letting go of his hand, Riena gave a quick chuckle as she turned back to the crowd, shrugging off the strained muscles of her arms. "I haven't had the pleasure myself... but from what I hear, it's a sight to see" Her mouth was a full on smile by this time. "Make grown men fall to their knees, and women and children cry tears of joy....really.... a SIGHT to BEHOLD"
Turning away from Hawkeye, her hand slightly covering her chin as she stifled the laughter that threatened to ruin the ruse.

Marcus approached the ship after his errands, Tai Minh and Guy Hughes following close behind him. From a distance he could see Vee and Hawkeye, conversing with the blonde doxy looking woman. He caught wifts of what was being said and the laughter on her face.
He frowned and but it became a smirk as he walked along her blind spot closing in before moving in.
SWAT! His open palm swept low at Riena's bottom and struck sternly. "Dont' be talking bout things you don't know enough about."
He was now standing between Riena and Hawkeye. The blonde nearby, and the newest pair following. He turned to the pair and nodded at the narrow stairs leading up to the next level. "Tai, Guy, set your stuff in the Galley, just up those stairs."
He turned on the blonde, eyes glaring into her. "Now who are you and why are you standing on my cargo bay ramp?"

Rienna Stone
Just as Riena couldn't contain facade much longer, The air of humor was quickly blown away. As was her composure. A loud THWACK resounded from behind."The HELL?....Marcus?!" Sidestepping him momentarily, trying to evade if there was a second onslaught. Her face wrought in mild pain. "You told me not to SHOOT ANYONE... You never said I couldn't talk about how hilarious your situation was..." "JUST doing what I was told." Grimacing she gently rubbed near the spot as the throbbing receded. "Orders are orders...Captain.." her tone sharp. and direct.
Giving a quick glare to the back of his head. Riena stalked back over to her bag, leaning over she began the removal of her jacket. The heat becoming too much. Throwing it into the pack, and tying it off. Once it was safely off to the side. She sat back down on the crate. Marcus turned away from her, talking to the fairer blonde woman. And the two other entering the cargo hold.
Lifting a hand to her face, to enhance to volume of her voice slightly. "All can be forgiven... if you kiss it better... Captaaaaain" all tuned in a sing-song tone.A wee taunt for old-times sake.

Jay couldn't help but chuckle. He had always been a bit of a talker, even when he didn't realize it. He waved his hand dismissively, "Nah, I was just lost in thought. No big deal." He was starting to like Ilana, the more he was around her the more he felt she was trustworthy. Granted, Jay had never got on with guys very well in the past so Ilana had that whole girl thing going for her that made it easier.
He felt all warm and fuzzy inside when Ilana wanted him to tag along. "Thanks. You're easy to talk to too," he replied, "And yeah, that girl down there is kind of annoying. And Hawk is well...Hawk. So I don't blame you...Let's go." He followed her. He didn't exactly want to go back down there -- his awkward, anti-social self was kicking in and he wanted to go sit in his room and write. But he had been trying to work on that, and the only way to push past it was to throw himself at people...metaphorically.

Guy Hughes
The walk to Marcus' ship was one that didn't rise any excitement in Guy. He still felt uneasy about going off world to do this job and he didn't hide it. Fortunately no one seemed to notice and eventually they arrived at the man's ship. It was massive and Guy was a little surprised. He didn't know what type of ship it was, even though Marcus had told him. Ships were something he just didn't care about. Once they approached the ship, Guy saw several people standing on the cargo ramp. Marcus approached one of them and slapped her behind, something Guy saw regularly back in his neighborhood. Then Marcus told Tai Minh and himself to set their things in the galley of the ship.
Guy wasn't ready to do that after seeing the type of people standing in front of him. He experienced surprise again, this time at the sight of the woman. He was used to seeing nothing but crusty prostitutes and old, crabby woman with too much makeup. Even when Guy broke into the homes of the wealthy he rarely saw beautiful woman, since the plan usually involved nobody being home. There was one occasion were a woman was home but she was a fourteen year old lesbian who had stabbed him in the leg with a fork when she caught him in her parents room. His neighborhood wasn't without it's randomly placed diamonds in the overall turd but it was a welcoming sight to see new, dolled up faces.
Not ready to get settled in yet, Guy decided to stand there for a while longer. "Well I don't have to go now. I should stay a little... and say goodbye...to the planet." Guy said all of this while staring at the women, pausing frequently as he did. It was practically a whisper, justifying his staying to only himself. Guy was the image of trashy, lower class scum and he had no way to hide it. He didn't think of himself as a bad person, just a man who was left without options, but his appearance left every stranger with one assumption. He was a nobody. Suddenly, Guy felt a little more comfortable about the trip.

Amelia
Amelia listened to the conversation going on, but didn't really care to comment, she didn't have anything else to say, she just had to wait for the captain to show up. Luckily Amelia didn't have to wait long, withing the next few minutes three men arrived; one was Asian, one short, and one was grubby but Amelia could tell he was handsome under the grime. The short one, Amelia remembered from before, and she had heard Hawkeye refer to a Marcus, so she was sure he must be Marcus, and when the short one, Marcus?, began ordering the other two around, she knew he must be the captain.
"Hello sir, my name is Amelia, I'm looking for a job, when my old war buddy Hawkeye called me up, and invited me to lunch, I saw an opportunity for a new line of work. I think I could be quite useful, my specialty is the procuring of information, access, and items, from people who would rather not give it up, I can be quite persuasive." Amelia decided the business woman approach, would be the best way to sell herself to the captain, but she also directed a wink towards the grubby man, who Amelia had noticed, had been checking her and the other women out.

Marcus listened to the woman and blinked hard. "I really don't mind Serendipity in my life, but she goes hand and hand with Disaster..." If she was a fast talking, smooth walking, sorta distraction; that would work VERY well with what he was plotting.
Hamlin was present and he stopped when things clicked. "Wait. You mean people actually called him Hawkeye?" He looked between the pilot and the woman. Then he shook his head. "Whatever. What. The-Hell. Ever. Get on board, store your kit in one of the starboard rear dorms."
He looked to Hamlin, again. "Mister Hamlin, understand that if this lady causes any trouble on my boat; she is accountable for her own actions, but it will reflect poorly on you. Run preflight checks. We have a job."
He turned back to the woman, "Miss Amelia, I'll be frank. I'm not one to stick around where I don't need to be. If you want on this boat, I sincerely hope you've got whatever you feel most attached to with you. We're heading up within the... half hour. Traffic Control permitting."
He turned and caught sight of Fuller and Ilana on the catwalks above, coming out of the infirmary. "Mister FULLER! I'd like the report on our medical and food supplies ready for me on the bridge. Ilana. We've got a job. Get to the engine room and spin her back up."
He turned to his no-longer most recent recruits. Tai and Guy. "Gentlemen. I'd ask you step too and ready yourselves for take off."
Finally he turned to Rye, and after a moment of just looking her in the face; gave her a hug. The chaste and friendly sort. "Damn right I missed you, ya damn crazy harpy. Have I got a tale for you." he let her go and headed over to the console that controlled the ramp, hitting the keys to raise it and close the air lock.

Ilana heard Marcus telling everyone what to do and turned to Fuller. She said, " I just bought a whole shit ton of food while I was out so we should be good in that department. I wasn't exactly expecting this many people, but I bought a LOT. Since he wanted a report on food, I thought you'd like to know you have more to add to your list."
Ilana turned and headed out of the cargo bay. She wasn't running, but she wasn't exactly walking either. The way she turned on a dime at Marcus's order could probably seem to others like being over eager, but that wasn't it. She was happiest in the engine room most times. She got a certain amount of peace from working on things. She couldn't wait to get started on the wiring that needed to be done. She finally got to the engine room and started prepping the ship for takeoff.

Guy Hughes
Pleased with the way things played out in front of him, Guy had a smile form on his face. Marcus had allowed one of the woman to stay and the other he seemed familiar with. He now felt that the flight wouldn't be as bad as he expected.
He made his way into the ship and looked around. He didn't know how long the trip would take so he had to make a call. He decided to put that on hold for a little longer and he decided to walk around.

Tai Minh Tian
Tai Minh liked walking through the streets, especially when there were lots of people about. When he did that he felt somehow connected to the larger thing. Each group of people all had their own place to go, and own set of people that they knew. However, they all were a piece of the larger whole, which was their civilization. Tai Minh liked seeing larger pictures of things, and even if they people didn’t see it, he did. But he also liked to see what each of the groups were doing. Granted there was a great deal of sin and vice that was all about, but that wasn’t something he had any direct control over. People suffered all through their own sin, but they managed to keep on a course of their choosing. Not everyone chose a path like Tai Minh, and he liked knowing that people were capable of making a way for themselves.
When he looked upon the ship, he was somewhat taken back by the size of it. He had seen such a ship before, but Tai Minh didn’t know anything about it. The craft was as large as some temples Tai Minh had been in. He was always somewhat fascinated by space travel, but he thought that people were better suited to planets then space. But sailors were an important part of galaxies workforce. He had himself had served upon spacecrafts for extended periods of time in his younger years, so he could see why some liked it so much. But Tai Minh enjoyed a more open, natural sort of lifestyle.
Arriving in front of it Tai Minh turned his head down to see who was in front of the ship itself. There was an odd sort of cluster in front of it, but he knew there wasn’t any set way that crews dressed. Some of the large company liners required such things as uniforms, but this was far from that. He followed behind the man who’d found them, Marcus, until they got in front of it. He took a look around at everything and everyone that was there. He slowly got caught up in thought, or what was more specifically lack there of. He just took in everything without judgment of any of it. Tai Minh got so caught up in it all that he was completely ignoring everything that was being said, whether it be to him or anyone. He just stood there holding his walking stick and all of his belongings on his back. He finally snapped back to it when Marcus stood in front of them and asked them to get aboard and ready for take off. ”Yes” Tai Minh said, of course”Of course.” Tai Minh stepped back into the ships cargo bay and stopped once he was passed where the ramp would stop. He smiled as he had succeeded in ‘being ready’ as far as what was specifically asked. He had done as was asked, and well, which made him smile in his success.

Hawkeye
Marcus and two other approached, it looked to Hawkeye like there time on world would be coming to an end. Hawkeye just hoped that they wouldn't be leaving with Amelia.
Hawk's hopes though were dashed when Marcus, without so much as a second thought allowed Amelia to come on board, oh well, it looked like he'd have to deal with her.
"Aye, Captain, I'll try my best to keep the girl in check." Without turning back Hawkeye headed to the bridge, time to get this bird into flight.
Hawkeye sat down in his seat and began to run his routine preflight checks. The Chainless was ready to fly.
