"Sounds good." Sam said with a smile. "When do you aim to dust off?"
Ilana finished her drink and gave Sam a smile in return, "Tomorrow morning. I'm gonna be headed back to the ship here as soon as my contact arrives, which should be any moment. We'll have one supposed to meet us at the docks tonight as well, and then we'll be ready."
With that, Ilana saw her contact, Randall, stride into the bar. He was a fairly young man, or maybe core life just made him look that way. He was confident though, and a relatively nice man, so she had no qualms with him. She saw him searching the bar for her and she raised a hand to get his attention.
"That'll be the contact now," she said to the crew.

Randall left the lab with the datapad, headed to a bar on the edge of town called The Grey Cat[/b]. He made a face at the innuendo in the name, but understood it's appeal. For a core bar, it was relatively cheap while still having at least most of the same fare as other core places. He wore a leisure suit in a dark blue color with a bright yellow scarf at his neck for a pop of color. He climbed onto his motorbike and zoomed off.
A short while later he arrived at the bar, applied a locking mechanism to the bike's ignition, and ran his fingers through his hair to combat the wind. His hair fell right back into place and he strode inside. He stood at the bar and scanned the faces of the crowd looking for Anastasia's friend, Ilana. After only a moment, he saw her waving to him from a corner booth in the back, and headed her way. He sat down in the final open seat. He handed the datapad to Ilana and said, "That's an airtight contract in case you get stopped by anyone with questions about the plants, ensuring it's clear that you are legally transporting the items for our lab. You're welcome to look them over if you like. We filed the contract with the commission on Friday so it will already be in the system should anyone desire to double check. This datapad will also serve as proof of who you are when you arrive at the lab on the Bellerophon Estates."
Ilana took the datapad with a nod and slipped it into the inner pocket of her duster, carefully zipping the pocket closed. "Thank you Mr. Flagg. Is there anything else we should know?"
"Not that I'm aware of ma'am. Anastasia said she'd already gone over the finer details with you. If there's nothing else, I'll head out and have the cargo delivered within the hour," he said. He was in a hurry, but didn't want to just get up and leave in case the captain had questions.

When the man approached their table, Rina crossed her arms and leaned back in her chair, cradling her empty glass under her chin. She smiled her greeting as the man took a chair but she let Ilana do all the talking. She paid sharp attention, yet kept her expression nonchalant, looking like a regular spacer just slouching at ease.
Internally, she was coiled to spring.
Shot glass to throat, hard left to the gut ...
Thus ran her thoughts, a well-worn app running at the back of her brain. It might whisper a little less loudly when hanging out with Ilana and her crew but it never really went silent.

He didn't look fidgety, just... tense. He seemed to be wired tighter than a clock spring. I don't imagine being Ana's assistant is easy, she thought, remembering how determined and sometimes bull-headed Ana was in her youth. She nodded again to the man and said, "I don't have any questions, thank you."
Ilana stood, Randall following suit. She shook the man's hand and said, "Thank you for bringing this. I'll be back at the ship in the next 10 minutes or so. You can bring the cargo any time after that."
He nodded and strode back out of the bar. To her crew she said, "I'm going to head back to the ship now. We won't be heading out until the morning, so there's no rush, but if you're not coming back tonight, send me a message so I can lock up the ship and go to bed." She smiled at them, and headed for the door.

She smiled at them, and headed for the door. Rina stood up with her captain and made to follow her out, pausing only long enough to say, "I've got to pre-flight our girl. Enjoy your night out, everyone. Oh and Sam, let me know if you need any help getting settled. Just buzz our ship and ask for me." She glanced at Ilana making her way to the door. "That's it, gotta go." So saying, she left.

Once the man approached the table, Sam sat back a little and quietly watched the exchange.

"Thanks," Sam responded, to Rina.
Once the Captain and Engineer were gone; Sam stood up.
"I need to take care of a few things before we leave." She commented to the ones who were left.
With that she was out the door.

Jace had let go a huge sigh of relief when he realized Ilana was doing exactly what she was good at, picking up the strays across the black. He had liked most of the company she had accrued over time. Though he really only trusted Jay and Ilana at this point. Rina he had to admit was growing on him, but he still wasn't too sure.
"Welcome, Sam. I am Jace the pilot, " he smiled at the girl and briefly looked her over again. She seemed to be about Helios's age younger than we thought when he first glanced at her, mentally shrugging to himself he decided it was best to make his exit before the table got anymore crowded. Getting the credits from Jay he attempted to leave. Glancing up from the table he eyed a scrawny fella approaching and Jace instinctively took his hand where his knife should have been.
Muttering to himself, "gorram". Until he saw Ilana had been waving him over. Jace sat back down in an attempt to hide his natural grip of his knife that he now regretted not bringing. Jace tuned the conversation out for the most part. Minor details on a legit job, but he scanned the room cause this wasn't the kind of jobs he was used to getting with this crew at this point. He trusted Ilana to make the best choices for the crew, but it didn't trust the intentions of the purveyor of these jobs. Not able to fiddle with the usual hilt of his knife he stuck his hands in his pockets where he put Jay's credits away excited for that new holotable he wondered what game.... he felt a item he didn't expect and eyed it barely under the table. Ah the babbler he picked up he had almost forgotten it in his coat. Jace shrugged and flipped it on he already had the other gadgets on why not another.
Jace began noticing those departing so he gulped down the last bit of his drink and headed for the door himself.

Helios ate the rest of his pie as the crew talked, before long another stranger showed up talking with the captain about the cargo. Helios sipped his coffee listening to the conversation but found it to be pretty boring given the type of cargo. The crew started to leave and Helios dropped the money on the table made his way out the door and towards the ship, where he passed a shop and saw a holotable. He had heard Jace mention something about it and Helios smiled as he turned into a dark alley.
