Marcus wove through the crowd, keeping his bag rigged tight and stepping through the gaps. It wasn't a hard thing to do. It was more a matter of stepping into where someone just was rather that going for where they weren't now.
They cross the line from low to middle-low in the quality of the places around them and Marcus saw a decent place to sit down and wait to be jumped.
He rounded the table and sat down, placing the tracker on the table.
Whoever V was, she'd be on his tale. A tiny thing like that wasn't much for range.

Her eyes met with the brown coat, only momentarily and then disappeared into the crowd, and stopped. She smiled to herself thinking he was dead meat because he stopped. A second later she comes a upon him sitting at a table....with the beacon on top of it. ("He knows, but he's not running")
Taking the chance of his vulnerability, coming from behind grabbing him by the hair, with a knife brush against his throat. Pulling him off the chair and closer to the back, away from the crowd. "It's over Bainbridge" Riena cursed his name through gritted teeth like it stung her to speak it. "there is no where to run, you're going to pay for killing my brother, I'm going to cut you open till all the blood is gone"
Riena slowly increased the pressure on the blade, with a sick cynical smile creeping across her lips, eyes filled with tears.

Marcus had wondered why this woman had been so eager to kill him. "Wow. Bainbridge. I'm insulted." He sighed and casually drew a piece of fotoprint and held it up. It was a man in his late 30's who held a mild resemblance to Marcus.
"Bainbridge is my TARGET." He emphasized the last two words. So she knew where things stood. "I'm Marcus O'Terra, nothing more or less." Take the knife off my throat, or you'll be doing the bastard a favor."
He didn't make a move, his handgun had been drawn since before she grabbed him, hidden under his coat; now it was pointed at her gut. It'd make very ugly and awkward wound at that range and angle.

"Bainbridge is my TARGET."
The words cut through like a knife, pushing all the air out of her lungs. "But...wha-.....I thought..NO...." her breath increased, she looked around the room, a few pair of eyes were watching the show. She gently pulled away, leaving a small indention from where her knife had been. Falling back on her steps, her head started spinning, She had spent all this time following, tracking, painstakingly fought through people to get information, wasted sleep....on this person...when it wasn't even him.
Riena cursed under her breath, letting out a sharp sigh. She felt powerless, and that she had failed. Reaching forward, she tried to grab the picture from his grasp "I'll take tha-"

Marcus was relieved when she pulled back on the knife and seemed to be shocked. He knew the look. When the hunt turned sour just before the kill. The relief that she'd found out BEFORE the trigger pull instead of after would come sooner or later.
"I'll take tha-" As V moved for the paper, Marcus pulled it back, and pressed the front of the pistol under her chin.
"If you want something..." He said, with a hiss, and a frown. "You ask for it." He pulled the gun away. "Follow me." He stuffed the photo into the coat pocket where he'd brought it from.
he stalked into a dark alley way and walked backwards for a moment before stopping. "So your beef with the bastard is your brother? Typical..."

Following him into the alley with hesitation.
Glaring at his comment, "Yes, yes it was my brother but you wouldn't know anything about that, now would you?" "Seeing as how you're all alo- Where are we going anyway?"
Stopping in her tracks, crossing her arms. "I don't trust you, even IF you are you say you are"

Marcus rolled his eyes at V's almost childish remark. So he was 'alone' lah-deh-freaking.... wait.
"How the hell long have you been tailing me?" He asked.
This was concerning. He hadn't noticing anything out of the norm for the past week or so. If she'd been on his tail that long, he was seriously not as alert as he wished he was.
Just the thought got him confused. But he shook his head from it.

Ajdusting her belt, she looked up and laughed at his remark, "Tailing you.?..ha"
"It wasn't that hard.... but not to offend" smiling as she motioned with her hand to compare height "and you're just so cute" she said, mockingly as she pinched his cheek as if he were a child. "Where do we go from here?" You could give me the photo and I could be on my marry way" she said with a smile, as she pulled out a revolver and pointed at his chest.

Marcus had the hammer pulled back on his pistol before the woman even started toward him. Before she had her own gun up, his was pointing at her sternum. He had to admit the woman wasn't acting as he expected.
"You want this guy dead. I want to get paid. I need him dead to get paid. You'll have an easer time killing him with another gun on your side. See the line I'm drawing here?"

Rienna raised a brow at his statement, "Another gun on my side, never thought of it that way" Flipping her gun backwards, and back into it's holster. Riena extended her hand, "But...things...people do change"
" Truce?" and once the words left her lips, smoke filled the alley making visibility low, Riena dove into the night with picture in hand, he foot steps receding into the night, her laughter along with it.

Marcus spun about as the woman left his sight. He sighed, figuring she'd find the notes he'd made about the mark. He was supposed to be getting another clue today, but with what was on the back of the paper she could probably put a bullet in him any time within the week.
Course she'd probably go for where he was right now....
Marcus smirked. That meant he had a place to be. He ran off in another direction. It'd be a while before she noticed what he'd written, course if she believed or not was another thing entirely.
(ooc: Skip ahead to the next day? I'll let you make up the details.)
