Details: Le Socle is a major transfer hub permanently located between the Central Planets and the Georgia System. It serves as one of the most popular stops for ships looking to restock and refuel along the way. Le Socle also serves as a sort of “Cultural Medium”, as holds a good balance between the high society of the central planets, and the poverty stricken trash of the rim. In spite of this, Le Socle is very well known. It has it’s own cortex transponder and broadcast point, and bounces quite a number of cortex transmissions from one end of the verse’ to the other. In addition to this, Le Socle has well over 50 vessel docking points, including 4 specified for Heavy Freighters. Le Socle has a large variety of markets within, from small cultural markets, to high-end auctions. An amazingly diverse series of living arrangements exist, but typically the farther up you go, the better the conditions get. The station is also recognized, infamously, as a great place for smugglers and criminals to hide out. Though there is an Alliance presence aboard, it is impossible for them to keep tabs on every one of the thousands, which go in and out of the station each day. So they try their best to ensure the peace is kept on the station, while doing what they can to track down criminals. The Stations owner, a man named Chappel Ancil Laron, is also known to be a very generous and friendly person towards those that others would turn away.
