Height: 6’6
Weight: 230 lbs
Eyes: Brown, but yellow due to discoloration
Hair: Very Long and Black
Persuasion: Reaver
Position: Reaver Tribe Leader
Physical Description Vykaar is very tall. He wears a unique garment, which is based around leather and metal, but has cloth pieces all over it which drab off him, which make it look like a tribal shamen vestment. He is very muscular, and his black hair drapes down passed his shoulders. His teeth and nails are very poorly taken care of, both of which are now sharp and jagged. He has a terrible odor which smells like rotten meat and dried blood. His eyes are a piercing, distorted, yellow color. He wears paint on his body, particularly a white hand print he places there to signify his place as the leader of his tribe.
Personality: Vykaar is has an insane devotion to a faith he has developed, which keys off of slaughter and sacrifice. He is brutal in his methods on everything, but more so then other Reaver Tribal Leaders may be. When he captures people, he will have the people of his tribe attempt to convert them through bloody torture and mutilation. And if he fails to convert them, they will be killed in an equally brutal manner. He knows how to avoid capture, and doesn’t put his tribe at risk, however he is an extremely dangerous being, even without his tribe.
History: Vykaar, formerly known as Richard Irving, is one who has a history that is very unique. His child hood was not one of the glamour that it would hold in his later years. He came from a very poor family on Greenleaf. His father was a dock loader, and his mom had died when he was very young. Because of this, his father was a heavy drinker and they struggled to survive. His father wasn’t much of a role model either, he had bad gambling habits to go along with his drinking which lead them to be in trouble periodically. There was one good thing that came from his father, and that was their religious devotion. Richards father introduced him to religion, and they would go quite frequently to the chapel near their home, even though it was a long walk there. The messages that were sent to Richard their inspired him, and he was given a book of scripture. The stories told in the book captivated him, and he quickly came into a deep craving for faith. This led him towards a future within the faith. At age 10 he left home and pursued an apprenticeship with a shepherd.
Richard showed great promise, and a knack for being able to recite and interpret scripture in a very inspiring way. The shepherd he was apprenticed to brought him to a conference on Osirus, and he was presented to Arch Deacon Oxnard. Oxnard was very impressed by the boy, and placed him as an Acolyte of the Chapel on Osirus. As Richard got older, he received his own credentials as an Associate Deacon. Richard, unlike many, didn’t like the concept of being a Shepherd. He thought it was better to stay in one place and expand outward, rather than go place to place. And so he was transferred to the planet Miranda. While here he took over duty’s as head Deacon of the Cathedral. Miranda, though a very civilized place, still had an unfortunately high crime rate. However, there were a great many people that would come to here Richard give a sermon. He seemed to give ease to at least a fair percentage of the people, and life was good.
However there came a point when people started acting differently. People stopped coming to hear his sermon. Of a congregation that used to have several thousand, now the attendance was dropping to several hundred, and they seemed to be very apathetic to where they were. But the changes weren’t only in the people, Irving found himself becoming very angry. His thoughts started dwelling back towards his upbringing, his dad, and to the shepherd he’d been an apprentice for. He found himself hating them, his dad for his faults, the shepherd for his views on faith. Everything seemed to infuriate him. At one point he looked at his reflection in the mirror and smashed it. As the days went by, incidents like this became more frequent, and not just with him. People seemed to be stopping all over the place, not doing anything. The streets were becoming empty, and people just seemed to be falling over. Clearly something was wrong. However there was a small group of people that seemed to be reacting like Richard. Increasingly though, Richards condition seemed to be worsening. One day he was walking on the street and found someone who just seemed to be sitting against a lamp post. Richard suddenly became very angry at the man without reason, and brutally attacked him. It was terrible, there was blood everywhere, and the man though soon to be dead didn’t seem to care at all.
Several weeks later, the only people that seemed to remain were those extremely aggressive ones. Richard found himself working out, expanding his muscles. He grew stronger, but as he did he grew more aggressive. He started to reject the faith he’d known all his life and replace it with a new one. A faith of a blood code, and of ruthless God’s of death and slaughter. The others like him seemed to rally to it. They could communicate, only now differently than with words. He could show them the power of these God’s rather than talking, saying these signs to do their will was all around them. Many of them, though perhaps not as devout to this as Richard was, still admired his strength and willpower. Richard would strike down anyone that stood in his way, or spoke against him. This put fear in this insane warrior culture, as well as inspired them to follow him. They had been left alone for several months, and in this time Richard no longer considered himself Richard Irving, he was now The Prophet Vykaar.
It turned out all over the planet groups like this had spawned, and word had reached that a ship from somewhere else had landed and was destroyed. Richard, now Vykaar, told his new tribe that they must expand upwards toward the stars just as their brothers were doing. They quickly went about gathering the means to do this, and they came upon a star-hauler. It was a very large vessel, much larger than standard transports. The vessel was turned into an abomination, and was the definition of Vykaar and his tribe. Spikes strewed from the sides, and red paint and blood were smeared on the hull. Bodies were latched to the sides and smoke spewed from boilers to the outside. Vykaar lead this group into the skies above, and in orbit they were joined by hundreds, perhaps thousands of others who had the same idea. There was no time to waist, there was blood to be spilled, and sacrifices to be submitted to their God’s. And so Vykaar and his tribe took to the stars raiding planets on the rim, and have done so without anyone to stop them. In their crusade they have become more efficient killers, and plunderers. Their ship has a grapple claw, and they continue even now to ravage the stars with their brethren of other tribes.
