The bridge of a "Thardvark" is split into two level's linked by steeps stairs on the sides.
The upper level, accessible via the main deck, has a circular console which contains a very advanced astronavigation system. When the ship's technical systems are properly maintained, the console can plot a course to anywhere in the known verse, and calculate a rough estimate on fuel usage. The display is unique because of it's size, accuracy, and efficiency. The system is capable of pinpointing the ship's exact location in the 'Verse, so you're hard pressed to get Lost in the Black, as long as it's functional.
This same system can be show the position of nearby ships in relation to the Thardvark, much like other general navigation sensors.
The lower Level holds the communications console, as well as Navigation. Straight forward consoles, solid controls and a no-nonsense set up for the hardware.
The angled view ports of the Thardvark give the pilot and co-pilot a nice peripheral view of the ship, and where they're going.
There is a small hold beneath the lower level, commonly used to store spare parts for the bridge systems.
