From down the street right where the ship had collapsed movement was seen. Some of the bricks and rubble began to move and crawling out from it all came a man. It wasn’t slow and methodical, but sporadic and panicky. He pulled himself on his hands and knees out from under the rubble and scooted quickly out towards the center of the street, getting up as he did. He looked around. ”Ho…. holy shit” The man yelled in a terrified way. He looked up and around, quickly as he did, almost like a how a bird turned its head as he tried to get an understanding of what was around him. He shifted his body as he turned, realizing the entire way down one of the street was completely gone, he turned the other way. Here he saw a group of people, and they had weapons from what he could see.
”Oh Thank God” He said running over towards them, his hands up in the air to sort of get their attention and show that he was unarmed.
He charged down quickly towards them, bending over a bit as he did in sort of a cringe in fear of what was going on all around them. He got over close to them. ”I just had a ship land on me… can you believe this shit. What a day!” The man began turning around to see what had collided near him. He was shaking in shock. He wore a hat and pushed it back a bit. He had quite a bit of dust on him. ”Can I hang with you guys, I don’t wanna be runnin’ by myself anymore.” He panted a bit trying to catch his breathe. ”S-s-s-so where you goin” He stammered. He sutured in a way that one would if they were scared and tired, not as though they did it often. But the man had no weapons and was terrified, and continued to try to catch his breath.

Teegan
Teegan looked at the mess the fallen ship had made, her heart sinking as that was their way to port. With a bit of a sigh she turned to say something to the others when she heard the rubble move and caught a glimps of the man stumbling from it. He waved his arms wildly as anyone in desperate need of help. Disapointingly enough he was unarmed. But they'd had alot of luck getting people with guns to join up, and another set of eyes couldn't hurt.
"Here comes another one." She said with a yawn, not at all surprised they'd picked up another. She turned to Marcus as the man stammered his way through a few sentances, with a big sweet smile and said, "Awww Marcus he's precious can we keep him?" There was a sarcasm in her voice, not because she minded another person but because the craziness of the day was wearing on her. Her dilusion of it being a bad dream was wearing away bit by bit and she had to accept it as reality.
"We're heading to Port. We have a ride waiting for us." She looked at the terrified man and sighed knowing how he felt. "I doubt you'll be turned away." She was beginning to wonder just how kind and giving Virgil could be. She knew his kindness, and felt quite confident he wasn't one to leave people to die.
Teegan offered a smile to the man as he looked like he needed it; Dispite her fear in the sounds of destruction which were growing nearer.

The man was very confused by the response he’d gotten. In his mind this was the most horrifying thing imaginable. He was still trying to catch his breath and this woman here seemed to be insulting his situation. And then what was clearly a yawn of arrogance was somewhat disconcerting for him. But amidst all of that, it wasn’t his greatest concern. ”The Port!” The man yelled in manner of utter disbelief. ”No no no no, you aint goin’ there. You don’t wanna be goin’ out there” He said finally standing up straight after he’d settled down a bit.
He was still in a serious panic. ”I just came from there. That entire place is gone. They swarmed all over it and they broke every ship and sitter’ layin’ on the strip. They were tearin’ off engines, setin’ fire to everything.” He said looking back the way he came from. He turned back and was shaking his head. ”There aint a thing left out there.” He finished. His hands were still shaking a bit, and he heard things shift and move, and noises off in the distance he would still move his head quickly in fear of what may be coming.

Marcus brought his gun to bear on the man as he ran forward, and kept it on him the whole way through. He didn't seem to be harmful, but there was nothing to secure that. He was still wary of Law, and this man wasn't making him feel any better.
Teegan's jest made him laugh, and his chest screamed in pain. "AhAHAhaa-ow-ow-oooh don't make me laugh, Teegan." He sighed and looked the man up and down.
"You a local man?" He asked. "We're thinking of ducking into the sewers, gotta be a bunker or a smuggler's den we could buy a stay in." It was a fool's hope, but the didn't have much else at this point. "Of course if there's any other suggestions, I'm open for 'em. Seriously?" he looked around. "Anyone?"

The man was equally confused when this man who seemed to have some problem with his leg as he was needing to be held up by the others laughter. He’d been running none stop since this whole thing had started, and was in a bit of a panic, but it seemed these people were taking this way worse then he was. That didn’t matter much, but the thought ran through his mind that he probably should have kept running because these people were getting a bit weird for him. ”Ya, I work a Crade and Zhung shop down on the East side of the dock.” He said pointing his thumb behind him in the direction he’d been running from. Of course now there was a large ship in the way, but the point was the same.
He heard the man say that they were headed for the sewer and pulled back a bit. His hair shook and swayed a little bit every time his head moved. ”The Sewer? No-no-no, that doesn’t go anywhere. Square miles of nothin’ but waste water.” He revealed. If going into the sewer had been an option, or a good one, he’d have already done it. ”I was headin’ towards the Train Station. They’ve been callin’ for a general evacuation of the city, and that’s one of the main hubs they’ve been sayin’ there doin it at.” The man said, pointing down towards the south east, the opposite way from where the ship wreck sat.

Marcus looked at the man with general suspicion but shrugged. "Fine. Fine. I'm probably going to end up meeting the inn keeper lady again... Gorramit."
He looked at Teegan with a sad wrench in his gut. "I killed Alison. I thought the reavers had her, then the cops showed up, and I ran...." He looked back at his leg. "Hobbled, actually, away." He shrugged. "I figured I should get that out now.... Let's go."
He started to move the woman so they'd turn around and head for the train station. If the reavers were massing at the port, there was a chance that they'd be groups herding people into it.
That'd be bad.

Teegan
Teegan's heart sank but she tried not to show it. The situation grew more and more helpless as they talked to this man. She was quiet, struggling with the thought of their safe havon being gone. She began to worry more about how they were going to live, about Virgil. Her eyes welled up a little but she tightened her jaw and wiped them away quickly.
Teegan looked at Marcus, her shock perhaps dull compared to what it should be. She was growing numb as their situation got dire. It was a survival thing. She couldn't fall to pieces if she wanted to live. "You gotta do what you gotta do Marcus." She said with an empty tone. "Better to eat a bullet than to be tortured and raped." Which was true in her mind. She'd rather he shoot her than leave her for the reavers.
"I'm sorry you had to do that." She added looking away. She'd checked out for the most part. She didn't know what to do or say, The idea of getting to the ship was almost realistic and had allowed for her to have hope. She'd lost that now. She glanced at the man who'd delivered the news, she almost hated him. True it wasn't HIS fault but she couldn't help but credit him for the feelings she was having.
She supported Marcus and began to walk with him. She didn't look at any of the others with them, not even Riena who'd she'd quickly gotten friendly with. Her mind was chaos, she was scared not only about dying but of living. If she lived and Virgil wasn't there to help her out the way he always had, she'd have to go back to her old life. The ache grew in her chest as she thought of not being with him anymore. If that wasn't proof of her feeling she didn't know what was. But for now she couldnt' think of that.
"Don't you think if everyone in this hell hole is going to the train station that'll be the next place the Reavers go?" She asked Marcus quietly. She looked up at him. "If they hit the train station with so many people around it'll be chaos, We'll get trampled to death, It'll be harder to escape." She sighed glancing back toward port. "What about the others? What if they go to port? They'll get killed..." She drew in a shakey breath. "You don't happen to have a com link with Virgil or Corran do you?" She asked, not allowing herself to hope for it.
It was obviously killing her that she was going to have to leave them and couldn't warn them.

Current Time – 10:51 P.M, Alliance Standard Time
The man really wondered what he’d walked into. He hadn’t looked much into the fact these people were all holding guns, but as he listened to some of their talk, he was starting to get a bit bothered. Why were had these people been going around with guns at all? And they were all talking really funny, and it was making him more then uncomfortable. ”It’s this way.” He said pointing and starting to lead them forward, but he was really considering heading back off on his own. Everyone in the city was scared, but these people were seeming a bit outright crazy. He considered asking them what all the weapons were for, and what some of them were talking about, but he didn’t want to know. The last thing he was going to do was take chance with these people he didn’t know. Of course the idea of running off alone seemed very good at the moment.

Marcus kept hobbling, with Teegan's help. This 'Mar' Guy seemed unwilling to stick around, or maybe he just wasn't used to seeing people carry guns. That didn't seem right to Marcus. I mean the worked in a port... he should be used to men and women carrying.
So was he lying? Marcus couldn't think of anyone besides a criminal, or perhaps someone mentally unbalanced, who would lie in this situation. But there were always desperate folk.
Maybe he was overthinking it; but the man was a local so....
"Do you know if there are any clinics, or hospitals, near here?" Marcus asked. "Mar? Maybe a school?" He doubted a school nurse would have much, but then again; schools could be rough. Maybe bandages or something.
He needed SOMETHING for his leg.

The man heard what the limping man was saying. This caused him to turn and look at him, and then he noticed that he seemed to be seriously hurt. ”Wo shit, you aint lookin’ so good.” He observed. ”But there’s nothin’ out this way. Falsal Hospitals the closes, and that’s way out that way.” He said pointing off to his left. ”You’d never make it.” The man announced. He knew it was fairly far away, and given what he’d been looking at all day, it was insanity. Knowing that he was dropping them into a potentially hopeless sort of mindset ”B-but I bet they got the Med-techs out there at the trains, you can’t be the only guy that’s injured in all this.” He said after he thought a bit. There was a crash and an explosion off in the distance. The man shot around and turned. He couldn’t see what it was, but sure made him jump. ”We should go.” He said, with the same sort of fearful tone he’d had since he came across these people.

Teegan
"Sure if everyone isn't already dead." Teegan muttered dryly as she shifted herself to get a better grip on Marcus. She looked at him sharing a look that suggested she was equally as untrusting of the jumpy guy. Maybe it was just her desire to believe something that may not be true. She couldn't handle the idea that the ship was gone and who could have been lost with it. She just prayed that Virgil and Corran hadn't gotten back to the ship when it was destroyed.
"I really don't feel right about going anywhere without the others. I mean where the hell are they planning on shipping us off to? Trains aren't exactly as fast as ships, Like the Reavers cant or wont come after us." She said with an annoyed tone. Bitching was about the only thing she could do right now, and it was keeping her mind off the sounds of destruction. But she was never the less carefull about her tone, keeping it low enough so at least Marcus could hear her but it wouldn't carry enough to ring the dinner bell.
"I feel like a damn Cow heading off to get slaughtered." She shot a look to Mar, "God help you if you're pointing us toward a reavers dinner plate. If we die I'll have all of eternity to hurt you." She snorted turning her attention back to their corse. She'd been SO excited about getting back to the ship, there had been hope, a chance of survival. Now they were heading toward uncertainty and the sting of the shocking news of the port being gone hadn't worn off yet. Instead of crying it was easier to get nasty. She had to start preparing herself to die, and to kiss all those plans she'd had goodbye. She'd never been an optimist, why start now.
"If anyone spots a liquore store let me know, I need a big bottle of Rum to wash down this impending doom i have stuck in my throat."

The man was walking fairly close to the group and he suddenly started hearing things come from one of the woman. His eyes suddenly got rather wide, as he started to get to grips with what was going on here. "Right, I can hear you ok! So you think I'm gonna stand here with this!?" He said. Suddenly he started to have her mocking tone and the fact that they drew weapons on him when he was clearly unarmed. He was in a sort of state of disbelief that he was having to deal with this. "Jien Ta Duh Guay!" He announced. He was better by himself anyway. He knew this city well enough, and the last thing he needed were a bunch of people who seemed aggressive enough to treat him like he was one of those drabby freaks running around. He'd just go off on his own, and what happened to them was far from his problem.
"I don't need this shit!" He said throwing his arms up. He was backing up. He was now in a rather bitter state, because he was under the impression he'd been doing them a service by telling them that the port was the worst decision they could make. But if they thought they were better off on their own, that was their business. He turned around and started walking away. "You wanna run off that way? Joo How Rin!" He finished turning around and starting to walk away. "Lord I try, I try to help, don't damn me for tryin.'" He was muttering to himself as he started down the street.

Marcus's mind was starting to go a bit numb. It was clear he was losing blood from the holes in his leg and he didn't doubt the moving around wasn't helping his leg none. He'd have to spend some serious time in a hospital or some kinda clinic if he was going to set right by his leg.
Disaster relief just might be the thing for him. If they could make it. There. He missed Teegan's comment and Mar's words were a buzz in his brain; but his running off mad it clear someone had irked the man.
"Wait!" He called after him. "Don't mind her none! She's in a womanly state of mind!" He realized the folly of what he said as it left his lips. Turning his head to Teegan. "And I am in a bleedin out state of mind. Possibly an infected and dying state of mind." He looked down at his leg. It was not in a good way.
"I hate reavers." He grumbled. "I'd take them zombies from the cortex-vids over this crap!" he groaned. He clenched his teeth and squeezed the toes on his bad foot. It hurt like all manner of hell; and he focused on that.
His brain started to clear with the pain; but it was an ebbing thing.
"Gorramit!" He hissed to the ground. "We need a car, or a mule... " He looked at the group and did a count in his head; accidentally counting himself and Angelina twice. "Maybe two mules."

Teegan
Teegan sighed at the man threw a fit and began to storm off. "Look I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you." She said stopping and calling after him. "I thought i was getting out of here, I just found out our ship is burned to hell and the one person i actually care about in this world who's ever been good to me could be dead!" She said her jaw tight and a few tears rolling down her eyes.
"I'm not taking it very well and I'm trying to come to terms with the possibility of dying. I'm just as scared as you are. And when i'm scared i talk shit. So i'm sorry." She watched the man. "We' don't know where we're going, so don't fault the rest of these poor people because I have a big mouth."

Mar
The man stopped as heard two sets of people calling after him. He rolled his eyes. Why am I bothering with this? he wondered to himself. This really wasn’t anything close to concerning him, but he wasn’t in the mind to be leaving other people to die, it wasn’t the sort of person he was. ”Look-look-look, I don’t care.” He started, turning around to face the two people, the limping man and the woman. ”You got problems? I got problems, we all got big ass problems!” He said holding his arms up to the sky and looking up in reference to the large amount of carnal men which were still everywhere from what he could tell. ”I don’t care what you’re issues are, cus we all got em.” He pointed out matter-of-factly.
He himself was having to leave his livelihood behind over this whole thing, and he’d been living in Za-Za for three years. But at the rate he’d being seeing people fall over and die in the last half hour, he wasn’t in the state to playing psychotherapist. ”I’m headin’ to the train, cus they aint gonna be sittin’ there forever. I told you what’s at the port, ok. So you listen to me or you don’t, not my problem.” He said, trying to avoid the point that this same woman that was pleading was the same person who just threatened him. He wasn’t a vengeful sort of person, but at a time like this, he wasn’t going to be playing two sets of games. ”My problems in that the stations thirteen minutes away, and for God knows what reason why, I’m havin’ to stand here talkin’ you people. So if you commin’ then come.” He finished turning around, he started to walk away. There wasn’t really anything more he should do, in fact, most people would tell him that he was doing more then he should have. But this was all he could do, and if the preacher said he made the right choice or the bad one, wouldn’t really matter because even going as far as letting them come along would probably be the death of him.

Marcus squared his jaw as the man stopped to talk, motioning to Teegan to move forward toward him as he spoke. He had a point. Marcus had pointed a gun a the man after he'd nearly been flattened by a damn starship. And he and Teegan hadn't exactly been polite in regards to his advice.
It was only fair that he seemed to be pissed and wanted to ditch them.
"Lead the way then. We'll keep pace." He looked around at the others, giving them a look that he meant to discourage any more sass from the group. Teegan specifically.
He urged the woman to help him forward more; and after the man's retreating back. His gun was ready; if anything leapt up at the group, or at Mar, he'd shoot it down. Or do his level best to.

Rienna Stone
A dirty scoul covered her face. "Whoo, the trains huh? I guess it'll be our best chance since everything has seemingly gone to crap" she noted sarcastically, shaking her head. The man did do alot of talking, and was visably scared, hopefully he was right about the direction we're heading. The circumstance they were in was becoming more, and more stressful along with the notion that the chance of dying a horibble bloody death would be the end result. She shrugged, the aches slowly creeping up her back and shoulders, damage from the dodging and running she had done previous to meeting up with the group.
"I'm glad we've at least got a direction to go, even if it is...well in fact the opposite way." letting out a quick breath, Riena postioned her gun close to her body ready to aim, and shoot."If I get out of here alive, I promise to be nice...er and bake cookies for children and not kick puppies, and not have mean thoughts about Marcus...." she mumbled to herself wishingly
